The Challenge
GOAT’s C2B2C marketplace for sneakers has rapidly grown to become a market leader, turning fashion into collectibles.
Due in part to creative, immersive activations like their coveted Black Friday Giveaways, GOAT’s largest competitor in marketing is, well, GOAT themselves.
Be like Mike, Black Friday Edition.
We partnered with GOAT to source a mic-drop giveaway item. Their mandate? It had to be a car. Our mandate? It couldn’t only be a car, it had to live up to the name—GOAT. We had to look no further than two unmistakable icons: The Ferrari Testarossa and Michael Jordan.
Our team sourced a similar black-on-tan Testarossa to Jordan’s, made iconic by his famous gameday pull ups to the United Center. It’s no secret that Air Jordans are a favorite of sneakerheads, thus the perfect opportunity to bring sneaker culture and car culture together.
This is the story we wanted to tell.
